How the Genting Dream Sails from Singapore

The Genting Dream sails round-trip from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) on a rotating weekly schedule. Across the 2026–2027 season she runs nine different itineraries — from a 2-night weekend escape to a 5-night voyage to Bali and Lombok. All sailings begin and end at the same Singapore terminal.

Short weekend sailings (2 nights) run on Fridays and Sundays; the 3-night Penang, Melaka and Phuket voyages depart on Tuesdays; and the longer Redang, Ko Samui and Bali–Lombok sailings run on single select dates. Every route, date and port time below matches the official brochure exactly.

New to the ship? Before picking a route, it helps to know what you're sailing on. See our full Genting Dream ship guide, browse all cabin categories, and check the deck plan — this'll help you match the right itinerary length to the right cabin.

Why trust this page

Every date and time here matches the official brochure

The routes, sailing dates and port times on this page are taken directly from the official Genting Dream 2026–2027 itinerary brochure (version V7, dated 26 June 2026), cross-checked against our own sailings. We add the things a brochure won't tell you: which port days feel rushed, when to book a tour versus go solo, and which sea day is best for the shows.

Prices shown are indicative starting fares — final fares vary weekly by demand and are subject to the fuel surcharge (SGD 15/person/night from 20 March 2026), gratuities and port charges. Itineraries marked with an asterisk have a schedule variation noted directly beneath their table.

Itinerary Planning Tips

Small decisions that make a big difference to your sailing.

Match the route to your time

Only have a weekend? The 2-night Nowhere, Melaka or Port Klang is ideal. Want a beach holiday? Choose the 3-night Phuket, or the longer Ko Samui and Bali–Lombok sailings.

Mind the port hours

Port Klang and Melaka are gateways to KL — allow ~1.5hr each way. In Penang you get a full day (10am–7pm), and Phuket is an overnight, so there's no rush.

Book single-date sailings early

Redang (7 Aug), Ko Samui & Redang (10 Aug) and South Bali & Lombok (13 Dec) each run on just one date in 2026 — these sell out fastest. Book well ahead.

Check for Patong Bay dates

On the Phuket route, dates marked with an asterisk dock at Patong Bay (tender) instead of the Deep Sea Port — a different arrival experience. We'll confirm which applies to your date.

Don't forget your passport

Even round-trip Singapore sailings require a passport valid 6+ months. Check visa needs for Malaysia, Thailand or Indonesia depending on your route.

Watch the weekly price

Fares move week to week. We track them — if your date dips, we'll tell you. Message us your target sailing and we'll flag the best window to book.

Keep planning

Itinerary questions

Genting Dream Itinerary FAQs

The most common questions about routes, dates and ports.

What is the full Genting Dream itinerary from Singapore?+
The Genting Dream sails nine itineraries round-trip from Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore in 2026–2027: a 2-night Cruise to Nowhere (Fri), 2-night Melaka (Sun), 2-night Port Klang (Sun), 3-night Penang & Port Klang (Tue), 3-night Penang & Melaka (Tue), 3-night Phuket (Tue), 3-night Redang (7 Aug 2026), 4-night Ko Samui & Redang (10 Aug 2026), and 5-night South Bali & Lombok (13 Dec 2026). See the day-by-day tables above.
What time does the Genting Dream depart and return in Singapore?+
It varies by itinerary. The Friday Cruise to Nowhere departs at 8:00pm and returns Sunday at 2:00pm (12:00pm on the 4 Sep 2026 sailing). The Sunday 2-night Melaka and Port Klang sailings depart at 8:00pm and return Tuesday at 7:00am. The 3-night Tuesday sailings (Penang, Melaka, Phuket) depart at 1:00pm and return Friday at 2:00pm.
Which port does the Genting Dream dock at in Phuket?+
The 3-night Phuket cruise docks at the Phuket Deep Sea Port, arriving Wednesday at 4:00pm (3:00pm local) and departing Thursday at 2:00am (1:00am local). On dates marked with an asterisk — 24 Nov 2026, 12 Jan 2027 and 23 Mar 2027 — the ship is docked at Patong Bay instead. See what to do ashore in our planning guide.
How long does the Genting Dream stay at Penang?+
On the 3-night Tuesday sailings the ship arrives at Penang on Wednesday at 10:00am and departs at 7:00pm — around nine hours ashore in George Town, enough for the food scene, street art walk and a temple visit.
Does the Genting Dream sail to Bali?+
Yes — there is one 5-night South Bali & Lombok sailing departing Singapore on Sunday 13 December 2026 at 5:00pm. It calls at South Bali (Benoa) overnight and Lombok, returning to Singapore on Friday at 3:00pm. As a single-date sailing it books out early.
Can the Genting Dream itinerary change after I book?+
Yes. Cruise lines reserve the right to change ports, times or the order of stops due to weather, operational or safety reasons. Some Phuket sailings tender at Patong Bay instead of the Deep Sea Port. We'll always confirm your sailing's published schedule before you book.
Which Genting Dream itinerary is best for first-time cruisers?+
The 2-night Weekend Getaway (Cruise to Nowhere) on Fridays is the easiest introduction — short, affordable, and lets you experience the whole ship without the logistics of getting off at ports. If you'd like a taste of a destination too, the 2-night Melaka or Port Klang sailing is a great next step. See our pre-cruise planning guide for first-timer tips.
Where can I download the Genting Dream itinerary PDF?+
You can download the official Genting Dream 2026–2027 itinerary brochure using the Download PDF button near the top of this page. It includes the full sailing schedule and port times for every route.
